Great news! We just decided on a producer for the Audio Book version of Reign of the Night Creatures! Her name is Stephanie Robinson, and she will also be the book's narrator. Stephanie gained popularity through the Audio Fanfiction podcast, and is known for her vast array of accents and character voices. Production begins next week. 1. The Everafter Chronicles: Reign of the Night Creatures is already up to 22 reviews on Amazon.com! Not bad for a book that has only been out for nine days!

2. I just found out that my short story, titled "Susan", will be featured front page on the July 3rd release of Linguistic Erosion Magazine!

3. I have been contracted to write a short thriller for young adults, which will be featured in a collection of stories titled "Epic!" by Tiger Dynasty Publishing. What's even more awesome is the fact that all proceeds will go toward supporting special needs children through The Lili Claire Foundation. We're expecting a late-Fall/early-Winter release.

4. I recently heard from my publicist that the TV commercial for Reign of the Night Creatures will be airing soon! WOOHOO!

Writing on the Beach and in the Mountains

As i sit here staring out at the ocean, my mind is contemplating the next scene in Everafter book 2. I've written about 30,000 words so far. Trust me when I say that you guys are going to love this!

Liam's first trip down to the water. He wasn't a big fan of the wind. :(

 We arrived in Sea Grove yesterday afternoon, after spending five days in the great Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN. We got a little snow while we were in the "chimney tops." (Thanks Denise Gaston for teaching me that term!)

 I got to check a few things off my bucket list on this trip. One of those things was getting to go up in a hot air balloon with my family.

We visited the Ole Smoky Moonshine distillery--one of the only legal moonshine distilleries in the United States. I indulged a bit and bought a jar of 100 proof original. Talk about STRONG!

 In less than two weeks, I will be jumping out of airplanes over Fort Benning, GA, and beginning the SP OPS pipeline. Until then, I will enjoy this time with my wonderful family, and continue to come up with ideas for current and future books.

Many Exciting Things Are Happening!!!

This past month has been very busy. My family and I made a PCS move from Hohenfels, Germany (where I was stationed for two years) back to the U.S. I will lay out the sequence of events that have occurred since our return in chronological order:

1. I bought a truck! What do you think?

2. I signed, packed and shipped the Kickstarter orders. You guys should receive your books any day now!

3. I sat down with my marketing representative and started planning a few last-minute book signings that I can conduct before I report to Benning for airbone school later in March. The first stop on the tour: Giagatt's Old Country Store! (I will keep everyone posted on additional stops.)

4. My book went live on Tate Publishing's website! You can order directly from them HERE, pre-order from Amazon Kindle HERE and from B&N NOOK HERE. The official release date is April 4th!!!

5. Between doing all of this, I am enjoying a month of leave with my Florida and Alabama families. My son, Liam, will be four months old tomorrow! Hard to believe how fast time is going by.

I will be absent for a while (Please Read)

As most of you know, not only am I an author, but I am also an active duty Soldier in the U.S. Army. Starting this Tuesday and for the next year, I will be actively engaged in time-intensive training. (For those of you who have been following my posts for the past year, you know that I will be starting the Civil Affairs q-course, which involves Airborne school at Fort Benning, and then ten+ months of language and MOS training at Fort Bragg.)
